Berkshire United Soccer Club Mission Statement:

The Berkshire United Soccer Club was formed in January, 2001. The goal of the club is to provide an opportunity for all soccer enthusiasts in the towns of Northwest Connecticut to play Fall and Spring soccer. The Berkshire United Soccer Club will field teams at any age and skill level for which there is sufficient interest shown by the players and their parents. The Club will also endeavor to provide a place for every player who registers in a given season.

About Berkshire United Soccer Club:

Berkshire United Soccer Club is a travel soccer club located in the beautiful northwest corner of Connecticut. The club serves the six towns of Salisbury, Sharon, Canaan, Falls Village, Cornwall and Kent, with teams ranging from U-10 to the U-19 age group. Our coaches are licensed volunteers. A Challenger Sports trainer supports our coaches by working with our teams once per week.
     Spring season games usually start the first weekend of April and continue until late May or early June. Fall season games usually start the first or second weekend in September and continue until late October or early November.
     Division II games are primarily played on Saturdays, whereas Division I games are played on Sunday afternoons.

History:
     Berkshire United was started in 2001 to provide the opportunity for soccer enthusiasts to pursue a higher level of soccer in the Fall and the Spring. The club has grown steadily throughout the years and has produced skilled soccer players for our local schools and for premiere clubs throughout the state. Premiere clubs provide opportunities for those who want to play at a higher level.


Future Goals:
     The goals of the club are to continue to provide the best soccer possible to the boys and girls of Region 1 and to encourage sportsmanship and love of the game. Another goal is to continue to provide Housatonic Valley Regional High School and preparatory schools with highly skilled soccer players as they enter their freshman year.
